Prerequisites Agron 512 (Soil Plant Environment) and 514 (Integrated Pest Management).
Course Description Environmental factors affecting crop growth and yield. Climatic and edaphic adaptation of crop species. Management systems for crops with an emphasis on the ecology of row and forage crops common to the Midwest. Restricted to graduate students admitted to specific programs at Iowa State University. Enrollment priority given to M.S. Agronomy Degree students.
Prerequisites: Agron 501 (Crop Growth and Development) and 502 (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology of Soils), and 503 (Climate and Crop Growth) and admission into the MS in Agronomy Distance Education Program.
