Prerequisites One course in genetics is required and one course in statistics and Biol 211 is recommended
Course Description Principles of qualitative and quantitative genetics applied to creating change in domestic animals. Impact of selection and mating schemes in achieving breeding program goals. Applications and impacts of biotechnological advancement in genetic manipulation.
