Prerequisites Interested students must contact Carrie Brus, cbrus@iastate.edu, to register since this course is part of the Community Development program through the Great Plains IDEA consortium.
Course Description Analysis of principles and practices of community change and development. Use of case studies to relate community development approaches to conceptual models from diverse disciplines. Exploration of professional practice principles, and student construction of their personal framework for practicing community development. This course is required before taking the other core courses.
