COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Introduction to physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils, their formation, classification, and distribution. Use of soil survey and computer databank information in balancing agronomic, economic, and environmental concerns in soil management. (Credit for only one of 154, 155, or 156 may be applied toward graduation.)
PREREQUISITES:  Chemistry 163 or equivalent
