| COURSE DESCRIPTION: | This is an applied course that teaches economic based theory, a theory of regional economics, multipliers and how local economies are affected by external events. The course teaches basic methods for the analysis of a local economy. Methods include: trend analysis, location quotients, shift share analysis and retail trade analysis. The level of analysis is limited only by the level of data available. |
