Course Description Basic principles of plant selection and uses, design and maintenance fundamentals, propagation techniques and general culture of hardy herbaceous perennial plants. Study 40 perennial plants hardy to USDA zone 4. (This course was previously offered in a more comprehensive version as Hort 493B.)
